In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Lord , who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the Lord ; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

D-Day
On this day, June 6th, 72 years ago, 1944, the Allied Forces of WWII landed an invasion on the beaches of Normandy, France in order to free France and its surrounding countries from German control.
This is known as D-Day.
With tanks, machine guns, and bombs, the invasion was not as easy as one might think.
There were thousands of casualties, including civilian lives later on. For the battle was not won the first day. It would be over a month later before the Allies had control of all the land that they fought to free.
The War, its victories, its losses, and everything in between, was not just fought for, or by, America and its Allies, it was for the whole world.
Just as Jesus fought for, and won Salvation for the whole world. All you have to do is Accept Jesus into your Heart, Believe God raised Him from death, and Confess you are a Sinner and need Jesus to save you.
When you watch sports, go to the pool, hang out and visit with family and friends, even take Summer vacation, locally or abroad, remember the brave souls who gave everything for you to have the Freedom to live and worship as you choose, without someone else saying whether you can or not. And thank the LORD for the Freedom we have in Jesus to live for Him, and that those soldiers were willing to answer the call of duty.

As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,
To such as keep His covenant,
And to those who remember His commandments to do them.

The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.
He has not dealt with us according to our sins,

So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
